This is one of the few total turn-key Châteaux where the owners have restored it with love, taste and authentic styling. The park was originally designed by a renowned landscaper in his time. The Château (Louis-XIII style) is situated in the countryside in the Morvan area, (Nièvre, near Paris: 250km). It dates from the XVIIth century, in a park/estate of 8ha.

The Château has a surface of approx. 750 m² (gross) in original, authentic style. The total roofed surface including the outbuildings is approx. 1950 m² (gross).

The interior of the Château is very illuminated by day and sunlight due to its high ceilings (4m50) and large rennaissance windows. Yet this Château is very friendly, elaborately and well decorated with authentic finishings making it a grand family home.


Plan of the Château

The Château's layout is as follows:
- Rez-de-Chaussée is accessed through the central hall. On one side the panelled salon followed by an ensuite bedroom and the bureau in the tower. The other side leads to its grand staircase, dining room, another salon and the kitchen in the other tower.
- The 1er étage has 2 ensuites, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a function room.
- Rez-de-Jardin has the ancient kitchen and its utility rooms, caves. The Kitchen/utility rooms part has enough space and windows to convert this to several additional comfortable rooms.

Outbuildings

Outbuildings include:
A large barn with garages has a gross surface of 800m2 on 2 levels.
The Guardians house or gite has 400m2 on 2 levels.
The ruine with partial roofing has 350m2 on 2 levels. A small pump house for own water supply from the source.
A nice pool of 12x6m, out of sight of the Château.
